Charente Boucles Cyclables

The Charente department has embarked on a vast “Charente Vélo” plan throughout the territory.

Ultimately, 37 local loops will join the department. A local loop includes three circuits:

• family circuit (4 to 10 km)
• discovery circuit (20 to 40 km)
• exploration circuit (40 to 70 km)

At each starting point, an information panel indicates the different circuits. Currently, 35 marked loops are open to cyclists.

All circuits are marked by small black bikes. At each starting point, “information services” relays are present.
